Eileen is Living in Fear

I was on the phone with Eileen. We had been singing with Barbara Streisand on YouTube, and I was reading to her, from our life story book 26,000 Days; when a serious incident occurred in Eileen’s room. She was assaulted by two male residents; I heard the incident on the phone but obviously could do nothing to help her. Eileen was screaming and in obvious distress, I could hear what sounded like aggressive physical interaction and a loud yell as Eileen was hurt. After a about three minutes, I did get my audio recorder working and recorded the very last part of the assault.

Eileen’s story raises concerns

Dear Editor,

Girl and Boy Scouts pledge to help other people at all times and to do a good turn every day. In a 1908 original text, it was suggested that one of such things might be “to help an old woman cross the street”. Over time facetious urban legends popped up about the old woman who didn’t want to cross the street, but was physically carried across by a strong individual regardless. Eileen's Story

Eileen does not deserve to be locked in a prison setting for the rest of her life. The happily married couple were fine for 62 years, and had planned adequately for needs as they aged. Island Health separated and abused them, and this injustice has cost them more than $140,000 in legal fees.
